Bunso Eco Park, located along the Bunso–Nsutem Road in Ghana’s Eastern Region, is a vibrant eco-tourism site that blends history, biodiversity, and adventure. Originally established in 1935 as a research station by British nationals and later managed by Ghana’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the park was redeveloped in 2019 to promote sustainable tourism. Today, it is home to more than 600 tree species, 105 bird species, butterflies, and small wildlife, offering a serene escape for nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy canopy walks, ziplines, horseback riding, botanical gardens, and guided trails, all while learning about conservation and Ghana’s rich ecology.
